Parentline works with children up to the age of 12, and their family/whanau who have any worries or concerns. These worries or concerns may involve behavioural problems, child abuse, bullying, separation of parents, domestic violence and trauma. Parentline offers a variety of groups for children that include self worth, boss of anger, keeping ourselves safe and domestic violence healing. Parenting programmes, loss and grief issues for separated parents and anger management programmes are also available for adults.

First Aid classes are run throughout the year. Basic First Aid can be taught in Somali with interpreter assistance. A Tracing Service to reunite families separated through war or natural disaster. A Message Service to families who are separated by conflict and war. Friendship Bags are made available for refugees on arrival. Emergency clothing, some bedding and furniture are also made available for refugees on arrival through Refugee Services Aotearoa New Zealand.
